Emotional Flatline

I've been spoiled over the past week plus. I've been able to speak with my love twice a day, including waking him up in the morning. I love that, it's as though we lay there together quietly talking. I want that for real, soon, but neither of us can see any plans in the pipeline for the immediate future.

It hurts to be away from him. It always will.

So, I'm a bit flat right now, nothing much to say.

Beep, Beep, Beep, Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

There are "over the top wonderful times", and flat times...it is my hope for you...that you have many many more of the wonderful times.

It is hard to go from one extreme to the other, so very hard. I wish it weren't so...but in your current circumstances it is what it is...hard to live with...but a part of it.

Revel in what you had, remember the smiles that were plastered across both your faces as you were freely able to talk and share your love...remember the love you both felt...hold onto those memories tightly. You will be beeping again in no time!

Many, many hugs.

I noticed you were being kinda quiet Fiona, thought it might be work stress too. It's ok to have the ups and downs.

Hang in there Girl ;)

(I know you smile when I call you that!)

Sunny - I want lots of the wonderful times, I've had a sad lack of them during my life. I need and want to be loved and to feel love, emotionally, spiritually, physically. It is, sadly, what it is right now. But with time, and goals, I'm hopeful for a future filled with that kind of love, and for me to give back all that to him. Tis a time of consolidation I suppose, and adjustment. Thank you for your words sweet woman. Hugs :)

Fusion - Girl...*L*...yes it does make me chuckle! There is a bit of work stress, no doubt, as my very stiff left shoulder and higher than normal pulse a couple of times today, can attest to.

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit down after feeling so very up. I know that feeling, though certainly not to the degree you are now.

I'm heading into an up myself - the GF is coming over today, yay! - but at least she lives a lot closer to me, and we talk to each other two or three times a day.

Treat yourself; that should take your mind off it for a while. Dark chocolate and peanut butter come to mind, with just the right amount of caramel... ;-)

I hope you trip back from the flatline is less traumatic than in the film of the same name. I'm sure the new situation at work will soon make your heart beat race above it's resting level but I know thats not the adrenaline rush your looking for at the moment. Glad you were able to enjoy the wake up chats though.

Hey Matt :) It's just me, getting used to so much and now having so little, in comparison. It'll pass, I'm getting stuck into work here and no joke, it IS doing two jobs! Yay Yay YAY indeed on your girlfriend news, I hope this works out well for you, you deserve it. I'm a milk chocolate fan but lordy lord these hips don't need any encouragement!!!

D - you're right, the work situation has provided me with a particular type of CPR, when all I really want is mouth-to-mouth from the man I love ;)

I understand how you're feeling. Been there and done that and it ain't fun. Hopefully, this flatline period will pass before too long.

The good thing is, TS, it's a wave. And we ride those suckers, don't we ;) Right now I've got too much work stress to keep me preoccupied.

Fusion - well it's true *L*
