Fun in the Sun
My heart is full and my mind is being severly tested today at work, as I roll into the last four days before my trip. So I leave you with some pics my sister sent me over the weekend. Here is the gang having fun in the sun....

Nice pics ... were they taken in Tenerife?
Wow, those are some BEAUTIFUL dogs! And BIG! LOVE THEM!
Hi George - yes, that's Tenerife :)
Jamie - Thank you!! The red dog is Bozo, my sis's boyfriend's dog, rescued there. He's a part presa canaria, the local hound. Lupo's brother looks a lot like him, just Lupo-sized (different fathers, same litter apparently). Actually a little-known fact is the 'Islas Canarias' means islands of the dogs (when I first heard of the islands I immediately thought 'birds') because of that particular breed which originated there when the local breed was crossed with bulldogs and mastiffs. Primarily a guard/cattle working dog, it later became used for dogfighting and became almost extinct in the 1960s after dogfighting was banned. I've seen one full-blooded presa and OMG it's like a mini horse! HUGE and so powerful.
Oh how I would love to be on that beach right now and let all my cares wash away - preferably with a certain guy who could do with the same!
Counting down with you now Fi - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it's so exciting!
FB - If you're good with a frisbee, Lupo would love to show you around ;)
Exciting??? We're like pigs in shit right now *L*
Beautiful puppies.
Ah, the things dogs can get away with, just because they're dogs...but they sure look happy!
Fiona - wonderful pictures of your lovely Lupo I bet you wish you were there on the beach playing with him.
Anna - Thank you...animals truly do bless our lives and that dog is one of the biggest blessings I've ever had :)
Fusion - I bet a few men wish they could let it hang out like that *L* They have such wonderful lives. It tore me apart leaving him but I know he's happy and healthy there and has a lifestyle I couldn't give him here.
D - I would. I remember being on that very beach, climbing those very rocks with him, on the last visit. And best of all, giving him a warm shower when he got home and seeing him so tired out from having such a wonderful day. Good memories indeed :) By the way any more puppy pics? Are their eyes open yet?
