I clicked the link and ended up on the Sex and the City post, which was just as well. A part of me still mourns that show's passing.
Well that's no surprise Mist1, considering that shoes featured so strongly in the show ;)

Great post. I can so identify.
I once dated a guy who up front told me he was dating me because he hadn't been able to get the really attractive girls to be interested in him. The saddest part of that is that I continued to date him for quite some time after he told me that.
That was such a beautiful post! It got me right in the heart.
