A Squiggle of Puppies
Do you remember the puppies? Courtesy of D, we have an update. They're growing up. At five weeks' old, introducing:
Molly - Kenya - Basil - Bella - Darley - Bass - Vada - Splinter - Erica. They all have homes and Erica is going to be a guide dog! Cassie (mum) must be so proud.
Finally, some rest for mum!

There's not much cuter than a bucket-load of puppies!
I agree with Tim 100%
Oh my gosh, they are sooooo cute!!!!
I want the brown one!
Tim, Princess, Evening - you are so right!! Just adorable!
Jac - well what do you know, that's the one I've had my eye on from the start :) I believe that's Bella - I love the name too!
Fiona thanks for that and picking such a great bunch of photos from the hundreds there are of them. Erica might not be able to be a guide dog as her mom and dad haven't been hipscored or eye tested (not sure how you get a dog to read a chart from 12 feet ?) Am now looking into her doing other charity work. As for the chocolate ones I thought we would have trouble housing them - how wrong was I ? And a squiggle is such a great term.
D - aaaawwwww re Erica. I think for the eye thing they hold a treat up and if the dog woofs they pass ;) I'm sure there's something Erica can do to benefit others and what a lovely legacy.
I LOVE the chocolate ones best, there's something about that colour that is so pretty!!
And D, thank YOU for letting me share such beauty and joy with everyone :)
...or maybe a rabbit out of a hat?
Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh, gorgeous!
AW, they're so CUTE!
My goodness! I bet those puppies could melt the coldest heart. What a joy!
Beautiful pics Fi. Tim said it in one.
Each and every one is adorable, and so nice they each will have a loving family...or job to do...
Chocolate labs are beauties...I wonder if D has seen the new reds that have been bred?
Sunny Delight - no I haven't but will now be googling for apicture as they sound gorgeous. The chocolates are getting slightly darker now becoming more like Bornville in colour for any Cadbury fans out there.
OMG How cute is that?
I want them ALL! They make me want to cry... but in a good way.
I want oooooonnnnnne! Why are puppies so perfect?
I bet D is just brimming with pride right now, seeing all this adoration for his Cassie's pups :)
Mom sure looks pretty tired, but the pups are adorable.
