Back to the Grindstone

Back to a mountain (almost 800) of emails and a full intray. I managed to pick up some viral bug, too. And I miss my husband all over again!

We had a quite simply awesome time, bar one extremely ugly episode - which lasted three out of the five days - courtesy of my sister. That man I married continues to prove to me just how amazing he is. How wonderful he is. How much he loves me. And how very blessed I am to have him in my life. Every chance we get to spend time together, we grow more in love with each other.

Our ports of call included Edinburgh, Lower Burnmouth, Darlington, York and finally Tenerife - and we spent a couple of nights at airport hotels. We saw wonderful places, met great people (I'll not include my sister or her boyfriend in that group, though) enjoyed a lot of laughs and loving moments together. And for me the best part of it all was that I got to spend time with my two favourite guys - Steve and Lupo.

P.S. Lupo totally adores him :)

Aghast for you that you have so much to contend with upon your return, and that you are ill to boot....

Very, very happy you and Steve had this time together, and wishing you many, many more moments together...and...SOON!

Thank you for the update...been wondering :-) HUGS!

Glad you made it Fiona. Get well soon, and try to put your sister's behavior in a little box and throw it out the window ;)

Get well soon!

Welcome back Fi! I missed you. And one of those places is in the same postcode as me and you didn't call me!!! Boo-hoo!
Looking forward to hearing more.

Welcome back! So glad you had a wonderful time yet again. I was hoping you'd share details about what happened with your sister, but I understand if that's too personal.

Hi Patsy - goodness how I love that man....and even moreso, being with him :)

Sunny, my love :) Tis the price you pay for being away! It's ok, I'm getting to the bottom of the pile and handling most of what is being newly flung at me - the work equivalent of rubbing one's tummy while patting one's head? :) SOON yes, like September/October SOON :) :) :)

Veracity - would have loved to have been away longer but our schedules wouldn't allow it - but soon we won't be apart at all :)

John - trust me I got close to putting HER in a box and tossing it out the window!!

FB - OMG nooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I never realised - well damnit we could have had coffee at a trainstation at least....darn it.

Anna - I'm still stewing a little and may post at length later. It was bad though, for both Steve and I. I can take her shit but I hate that he had to deal with it too. Thank god for Lupo, he adored Steve :)

Tim - Aint they just! The flu is lingering but I'm refusing to roll over and give in ;)
