Somewhere Over the Rainbow
On my last day in Scotland we had this magnificent rainbow which turned into a double after a little while:
oh and this is how close my mum's house is to the sea - washes up against the front wall. The green 'leaf' on the bottom of the window is a piece of seaweed!! From the wash of the tide onto the house (it sounds like someone is taking a sledgehammer to the outside wall):

Wow, great pictures. Beautiful rainbows.
I'd love a view like that facing west, just to get the sunsets. I'm guessing that you would get more sun rises through those windows.
Lovely pictures Fiona.
Wow - to see a rainbow like that and have a camera handy! Brilliant!
This is the 3rd time I have visited your blog darlin' trying to catch up...hopefully today I will get the chance to read all of your holiday posts.....
This is lovely, what a wondeful view, I am sure there are amazing sights to behold.
The storms are the best DG - that's when the waves break on the front of the house and the spray actually goes all the way over the top of it!!!
Miranda and Freebird - they are beautiful, it was the second of the day, we'd seen a faint one when we drove back from Edinburgh, but when this came out it was my sister and I scrambling for the door with our cameras *L*
Ian - spot on....beautiful sunrises but goodness me those sea birds are NOISY...as is the tide when it changes. I, too, prefer sunsets, I just love them!
Sunny!!!!! Well it's beautiful to visit but way too quiet for me. And it's good to see you honey.
Wow..I think I would be scared of the water being that close! but its beautiful..the rainbow made me smile!
Don't worry Chele, it's very shallow up by the house, you can see the bottom!!
